Most Venerable Rerukane Chandawimala Maha Nahimi (1897–1997) was a Sri Lankan Buddhist monk, scholar, and prolific author who served as the Mahanayaka of the Sri Kalyaniwansa Nikaya and dedicated his life to the Theravada Sasana.
Ordained at age nine, he spent a decade studying in Burma before returning to Sri Lanka to author around thirty authoritative Dhamma books — works that remain essential references in every Buddhist household to this day.
